For instance, if you are laying track and have a piece of track in the cursor, every time you move around the screen using the arrow keys and push the up button the track changes from laying track to removing track.

Very frustrating. And would be an easy fix to make it work right, so I wonder how much research went into the patch. A patch should fix things, not make them worse. But the original game limits how many trains you can manage, usually around 50, by simply making new trains not work correctly.

The patch supposedly fixes this, and maybe it does. But I can never get to fifty trains using the patch because of the annoying way the patch keeps changing the track while maneuvering the screen. This game can already be a challenge, I sure don't need the patch causing more frustration.
